During the challenging period of lockdown due to Covid, the Y4K volunteers took a noble initiative to distribute food to the underprivileged communities. They worked tirelessly with the support of Love Without Boundaries to ensure that the food reached those who needed it the most. With their dedication and compassion, they were able to make a positive impact on the lives of many families. The volunteers adhered to the necessary safety protocols to minimize the risk of spreading the virus and worked with efficiency to reach a larger number of people in need. On November 9th, 2023, Y4K Bethune College volunteers visited Chittaranjan Cancer Hospital. A total of 18 children, ranging from 3 to 13 years old, received new clothes. The volunteers personally handed over the clothes to the children in the OPD, while hospital staff delivered them to cabin patients due to medical restrictions. Witnessing the children's happiness upon receiving the clothes was truly rewarding for the volunteers. Following the distribution, a hospital representative discussed cancer awareness and its impact on children, further enriching the volunteers' experience. Being able to bring smiles to the children's faces was an unforgettable moment for all involved.
