Activities for the Gift a Book Campaign

1. Roadside Encounters:

• While traveling on the road, you may encounter child beggars. Instead of giving them money, offer them a book. This small gesture can ignite their interest in reading and open up a world of possibilities.

2. Weekend Outings:

• When you visit places like temples, parks, zoos, restaurants, or shopping malls on weekends, you may come across underprivileged children or child beggars. Carry a few books with you and gift them to these children, providing them with a meaningful and lasting gift.

3. Slum Visits:

• Visit a nearby slum in your locality and bring along a collection of books. Gift a book to each underprivileged child you meet, spreading the joy of reading and helping to foster a love for learning within the community.

How to Take Child Safe Photos - Kindly adhere to the below mentioned points

1. Protect Privacy:

• Please do not use names, school names, addresses, or any other personal details of the child.
• Use images where the child's face is not fully visible, such as over-the-shoulder shots or photos from a distance.

2. Be Respectful:

• Respect the child's comfort and dignity. Ensure they are in appropriate attire and portrayed in a positive and respectful manner.
• Avoid capturing images that might embarrass or negatively impact the child now or in the future.

3. Safe Settings:

• Choose safe and neutral backgrounds for your photos. Avoid locations that could reveal the child's home or frequently visited places.

4. Avoid Sensitive Situations:

• Refrain from taking photos in sensitive situations, such as when a child is upset, injured, or in distress.

5. Respect the Child's Wishes:

• Always listen to the child. If they express discomfort or do not want their photo taken, respect their wishes without question.
