A Journey Towards Sunshine

“I like to have kheer with nuts and also cakes. My mother prepared kheer for me and my father brought cakes on my last birthday.  I was so happy!” told Aaron, a 12 year old boy who is placed in a loving and caring foster family last year.

Aaron is a good student. His handwriting is good. He likes to focus on his writing skill. He takes daily notes in class.  “I want to get a scholarship. So I am working hard” he added.

Aaron likes to help his father in gardening. He waters the plants and is thrilled to see the plants growing and flowers blossom in his garden. “I want to plant more vegetables in our garden specially Brinjal and Lady’s finger as my mother cooks delicious dishes with Brinjal and Lady’s finger. I liked those dishes very much”.

Aaron also likes spending time with his siblings playing outdoor and indoor games like cricket and carom. He has developed a special bond with the siblings. They share all their belongings with the newcomer of the house.

Aaron is fond of reading story books and watching action movies. “I become excited to see the hero is beating up the villain in the film. I want to learn those techniques and want to teach all the bad boys of the village a lesson.”

Aaron is a happy and jovial boy. He welcomes everybody always with a smile. He shares funny jokes and makes funny faces to make people laugh. He wants to make his foster family happy. He also harbours a desire to visit a haunted place and a cemetery at night since he is curious to know more about these places. “Since the time my father has come to know about my plan he is constantly asking me not to visit these places alone”, he shared.

With a sense of gratitude towards life Aaron wants to join army and serve his nation. “It is our duty to give back to our society. I will do that by joining army in future”.

Thank you very much for your support. You are giving him the opportunity to grow in a supportive and loving foster home. We greatly appreciate your generosity!
