Meet Yogesh

  • 17 Jul, 2024

Five-year-old Yogesh’s sweet smile lights up his family’s modest home in a small, bustling neighborhood. His father, an auto driver, and mother, a cook, work tirelessly to provide for their children, facing monthly financial uncertainties with unwavering determination.

Amidst their struggles, the Anand Believe In Me (ABIM) Center stands as a beacon of hope. Inspired by his elder sister Ramya’s enthusiasm, Yogesh eagerly embarked on his educational journey at ABIM. Here, he discovered the joy of learning and play, his curiosity blossoming with each passing day.

Yogesh’s bond with his mother is particularly strong, often leaving him in tears when she returns late from work. In these moments, Ramya steps in, offering comfort with a wisdom beyond her years. The siblings share a special connection, filling their home with laughter as they engage in spirited games of ludo and carrom.

Fridays at our ABIM Center are Yogesh’s favorite, as he immerses himself in a world of colors and imagination through painting. His cheerful nature and obedience have endeared him to his teachers and peers alike.

Despite the hardships that surround him, Yogesh’s dreams soar high. With the constant support of his family and the nurturing environment of ABIM, this bright young boy aspires to become a police officer, determined to make a difference in his community.
