In the bustling city of Kolkata, nestled on the northern fringes, lies a place that holds the heartwarming story of Aabis and her family. Seven years ago, they migrated from Bangladesh, seeking a better life and settled near the base of a dumpsite. Despite facing numerous challenges, Aabis, an eight-year-old with a thirst for knowledge and a passion for dance and art, has proven that dreams can thrive even in the most adverse circumstances.<\/p>\n

Life was not easy for Aabis’s family when they first arrived in Kolkata. Living near a dumpsite posed many hardships, but her parents’ determination and resilience allowed them to make the best of their situation. Her mother’s work as a house help and her father’s job as a mason provided a modest income, allowing them to support their family and give Aabis and her elder brother the opportunity to pursue an education.<\/p>\n

Aabis has always been a diligent and eager learner. Her passion for knowledge was evident from a young age. With the support of her parents and teachers at the Anand Believe in Me Center, she excelled academically. Recently promoted to Grade 2, her parents take immense pride in her achievements and are confident in her bright future. Her connection with the Anand Believe in Me Center runs deep. Since its inception, she has been a regular attendee, and her teacher adores her for her obedience and dedication. Apart from excelling in her studies, Aabis has also discovered her flair for painting and dance.<\/p>\n

Dance has always held a special place in Aabis’s heart. Her mother’s determination to introduce dance classes at the Anand Believe in Me Center was a turning point in Aabis’s life. Thrilled with the opportunity to learn dance, Aabis embraced it wholeheartedly, impressing her dance teacher with her quick grasp of steps and graceful movements.<\/p>\n

Whether it is imitating her favorite Bollywood actresses or expressing herself through fluid dance moves, Aabis’s passion for dance is evident in her every performance. The dance classes have become an essential part of her life, providing her with joy and self-expression.<\/p>\n

When Aabis is not studying or dancing, she finds solace and joy in painting. Her love for nature is beautifully reflected in her artwork. Spending weekends with her brother, exploring colors and capturing the beauty of the world around them on canvas, brings happiness to their lives.<\/p>\n
