He and his parents live near one of the largest landfills in Kolkata. Their house is one of the closest to the landfill where the stench is unbearable. When his parents came to know about an after-school center to be opened in their area, they were very happy. They were glad that their son will now have someone to guide them through his studies. He feels very proud when his teacher appreciates him or gives him a \u201cstar\u201d for being a good boy in class.
